GiG leader inspires crowd at Girls in Tech gathering

Cristina Niculae, B2B Operations Director at GiG, today told a crowd of attendees in Gibraltar at a Girls in Tech event about her childhood love of stars and her journey to be a tech leader.

The Girls in Tech event aimed to bring female professionals in the technology field together to talk about their challenges, accomplishments and lessons they learned along the way.

Cristina shared stories about her journey through the tech industry during the talk. Cristina has been working with tech companies for the last 15 years.  She’s been passionate about science and technology since her childhood – and it inspired her to take a degree in Mobile and Satellite Communications.

She’s still fascinated by astronomy and the latest space exploration projects (such as NASA’s Mars Rover 2020) – in fact any tech that will help to improve the standard of living as well as push the human race forward.

Cristina believes that any young woman who is passionate about technology can make a difference and is happy to share her stories to inspire the next generation of women technology leaders.  Listen to her amazing talk – of how she followed her dream, fought to be recognised when she was studying and is now leading the way in the iGaming industry.
