We are seeking an individual to take responsibility for managing the RUN, which refers to maintaining optimal production in the long term, including application procedures during incidents, platform security and stability, and being the leader in maintaining platform stability.

The person will collaborate with project teams to identify and implement improvements on the RUN. This includes managing the improvements and handling communication related to them.

This role involves actively working on structuring projects, identifying improvements for our productions through proactive monitoring to anticipate problems.

The ultimate goal is to ensure 24/7 stability of the sites/platforms. This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration with various departments, emphasizing effective communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and reporting any issues to the teams (if any). This position requires having credibility with the teams.
  • Disseminating good practices, such as working on specific modules to rectify defects and writing reports, among other tasks.
  • Optimizing the work of the development team.

Requirements

  • Expertise in different linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, etc…)
  • Systems architecture. Knowledge, management of virtualized and cloud environments (Nutanix, Proxmox)
  • Very good knowledge of monitoring tools Nagios, Grafana.
  • Experience in task responsibilities (from start to finish) in WEB environments (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Squid)
  • Experience in high availability environments and high traffic websites, (balancing, DB cluster)
  • Identify and produce metrics to continuously optimize performance
  • Networks and Communications: Firewall management, VPNs.
  • Experience in incident management web platforms
  • Knowledge on databases MySQL with replication master/slave
  • Automation with Ansible and Terraform
  • Familiar with Java and also PHP/Symphony web application administration
  • Security, server protection, WAF, AntiDDOS, vulnerability scanning and monitoring
  • Good autonomy level
  • Experience in ISO/ ITIL methodological environments
  • Fluency in French is mandatory and strong English communication skills.
