GiG is looking for a data analyst to work on initiatives to optimise the business. At GiG we want to be data driven from all aspects and see this area within data as a strategic pillar in the company’s overall vision.
What you’ll be doing
– Deal with adhoc scenarios where analytics will help the business understand insights.
– Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports via the current technical stack
– Some use cases that you will be working on include:
– AB Test a campaign to identify elements of success and failure. These findings will optimise the next campaing iteration.
– Bonus optimization based on multi-tier segmentation, lifecycle, player product preference and experience.
– The use cases will range across verticals outside of the data team such as CRM, Casino, Sportsbook, Poker and come up with effective ways to get better results with predictive analytics.
– You will be able to translate exploratory anlaysis into production models that are able to run with minimal manual interference
Who you are
– You have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
– You’re a compelling storyteller who can communicate in succinct and inspiring ways to a variety of audience types to influence real world product or feature decisions.
– You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to execute with autonomy.
– You have good SQL skills and programmatic expertise, like R or Python, and have good knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, R.) Use of Knime would be considered a positive.
– 2+ years’ experience in data analytics/data science/business analyst and a degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, physics, marketing).
