What will you be doing?
- Proactively reviewing current compliance requirements and ensuring that all applicable standards and requirements are up to date.
- Monitoring new markets and secondary legislation and ensuring timely analysis and announcements.
- Deep diving into regulations, technical standards, and breaking down the requirements in a digestible format for other stakeholders.
- Take an active role in product certifications with supervisory authorities or with independent testing houses.
- Together with colleagues and third parties, you will be assisting and ensuring tests and inspections are conducted and completed to the adequate standards.
- Working closely with our Information Security, Legal, Platform development and Product development teams.
- Acting as a point of reference for internal compliance enquiries.
- Facilitating the ongoing development and continuous improvement of all products and services.
- Communicating with third party suppliers to ensure compliance across the entire spectrum of services provided.
- Researching, assessing and assisting in ensuring the company’s products are compliant with relevant technical requirements.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, testing facilities and legal counsel for any compliance-related matters.
- Reporting to the Technical Compliance Specialist.
What skills do you need?
- You need to be a highly motivated, driven and independent individual willing to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong technical expertise in relation to the implementation of compliance requirements in the iGaming Industry.
- A firm understanding of the technical implications of compliance solutions.
- A good understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of information security and data privacy standards and legislation such as ISO27001 and EU GDPR.
- Clear and concise communication in both written and oral English language. Further language skills are beneficial but not essential.
- The ability to effectively deal with ambiguity.
- Structured and organized with a positive can-do attitude.
- Confidence to meet clients, speak to regulators and lead internal stakeholder meetings.
- Experience dealing with multiple iGaming regulations concurrently in a compliance or product role for at least 2 years.
- Previous experience working in the iGaming industry.
