Director of Sales

Malta, Marbella

The Role:

The role will involve providing leadership and management on the delivery of sales objectives around the globe. To be responsible for developing and maintaining sales strategies to meet agreed company objectives. To evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data and work with the sales teams to implement sales that sit within the brand values of the business.

You will work with the Commercial team and other stakeholders to share best practice and identify opportunities to drive improvement across the group. As Sales Manager your role will be to deliver all revenue across all product by motivating and educating the sales and business development team. 

The Director of Sales and Business Development will report directly to the Group Chief Commercial Officer.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build sales strategy for new launches
  • Developing sales strategies and initiatives to ensure the on-going growth of the product portfolio
  • Ensure the team has all the necessary tools to effectively perform the job
  • Identifying training needs for the team and carrying out training as required
  • Development of S-Class sales and marketing material ensuring consistency of such material across all GiG products
  • Lead commercial initiative/plan for new product launches and acquisitions
  • Collaborate on the introduction of the sales pipeline implementation across group
  • Collaborate with the CCO to create commission/bonus structures across sales as well as incentive plans
  • Developing sales strategies and initiatives
  • Continuously develop market knowledge through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Attend industry events and top tier networking socials for building key relationships
  • Identify, create and manage external relationships critical to business objectives
  • Complete responsibility for sales strategy and execution for entire portfolio
  • Commercially analyze potential acquisitions and build report
  • Build sales strategy for new launches
  • Developing sales strategies and initiatives to ensure the on-going growth of the portfolio
  • Responsible for all commercial training plans and sales developments
  • Creates a culture of communication among team members and through clear

communication of ideas, processes and goals

  • Set, evolve and implement group sales KPI’s across the portfolio and teams
  • Ensure the team has all the necessary tools to effectively perform the job
  • Set and manage sales benchmarks/KPIs across group and implement to acquisitions
  • Lead commercial initiative/plan for new product launches and acquisitions
  • Identify stars in group and rising stars and develop/mentor
  • Create commission/bonus structures across sales as well as incentive plans
  • Working closely with the sales and business development teams to maximize sales opportunities and promotion
  • Manage a handful of key relationships (clients) across the portfolio
  • Ensure that all commercial and contractual agreements are in-line with agreed company

policy; ensuring that any and all non-standard contractual business terms or arrangements

are appropriately authorized.
